5 150x150 - The Strangers

Look into those people,

Whom you do not know,

Yet they do you kindness,

Without knowing you.

Life crosses their path,

Along yours,

To show you kindness

_ Light from humanity

We do not pay attention but life is filled with people who do kind things to us. The amazing part is such people have crossed our paths in one time or another and they are virtually strangers. Think of the people who have shown you kindness without expecting anything in return.

Where do we know these people? What are their names? What is their job? Where do they live? What kind of family do they have?

  • The person who leaves his chair for us in any transportation.
  • The person who smiles at us all golden and glowing making us view the day like looking at the sun.
  • The mother who plays with our child because we were late in arriving at a school.
  • The person who politely talks to us on the other end of the line even though we have made a wrong phone call.
  • The person who sits next to us and shares our feelings because we are in a hospital feeling gloomy.
  • The person who just listens to us while we vent our day in any place.

Do we not know such people?

Have we not encountered them before?

Even though we do not know their names, we know enough. We have witnessed one incredible thing about them. They were kind to us. They might not remember their actions but we do. Because they have made us see the world through a different light.

Thoughts to Remember:

  • Remember those people who have shown you kindness.
  • Be kind to others yourself. Choose yourself to be the reason the sun shines on other people’s faces.

“Forget Injuries

Do not forget Kindness.”    Confucius
