YOU woke up suddenly in the middle of the night.
Something has woke you.
Or rather, you feel like someone has been in your home without your knowledge.
You start looking for every room in your home looking for a disturbance– any lights that are ON or doors not closed.
You even go outside the front door. Everything is at it should be.
You go back to your room – uneasy with yourself.
Therein lies the thing that has woke YOU.
The lamp next to your bed is ON. It is a slight dim – but it is there.
The light flickers on and off now and then. You realize that there is something wrong with it.
You have been searching through your entire home looking for that something that has disturbed your sleep.
You searched and searched in your sleep state everything in the house –EXCEPT the one thing that was NEAR TO YOU.
Phew.
There is a thief in your mind that behaves exactly like that.
There is a thief in your mind, whose footsteps you do not HEAR. Whose voice is so low that you find it difficult to hear it with clarity. Whose presence is SO SUBTLE that you DO NOT even feel it stealing or living its own life – right there in your own mind.
This thief has many names. It is your false self. He steals your true self. If you see him, capture him immediately or call the police – for he is responsible for killing your true self all the time.
He has killed more dreams than failure ever did.
