Inspirational story on the power of love.
“Sometimes our light goes out but it is blown again by an encounter with another human being. Each of us owes the deepest thanks to those who have rekindled this inner light.” Albert Schweitzer
Last week, I received a new trainee who was going to join my class. Before I met my new trainee in my training room, I had the privilege of meeting him in an elevator. I say privilege because I saw his character in those few minutes. I did not know he was my trainee when we both the elevator.
A Message of ‘The soul of man’ …
We were seven in the elevator ride. One family was arguing the whole time. It looks like they were fighting even before they entered the elevator. And they were with their teenagers.
We did not want to hear what this family was arguing about. But we did, as they were talking loudly. The wife from her rantings looks like she is accusing her husband of not paying the bills and forgetting the children.
After a few seconds in the elevator …
The gentleman in the elevator with me and the family spoke up.
“I wish I could argue with my wife; you might not have this chance tomorrow.”
To your inspirations,
Banchi
