Nature 3 300x200 - Inspirational Lessons from NATURE

TREES

What do we do when we are faced with change? We try resisting it with all our energy forgetting that it is part of life.

Let us learn from trees.  They don’t resist CHANGE of any kind. They embrace it in fact.

Trees don’t resist leaves falling when Winter arrives.

The change of color of leaves are not fought by the trees when Spring comes.

BAMBOO AND THE MAPLE TREE

There is no unnecessary comparison in nature. None at all.

Does the bamboo feel jealous of the maple tree because it is bigger and its leaves change color?

NEVER!

So, we should emulate similar thing and stop comparing ourselves with others.

BIRDS

Birds are the perfect example from nature for effective communication.

Two birds never run into each other when they are flying in a flock.

They communicate effectively without uttering a single word.

NIGHT SKY

Darkness is necessary to appreciate the night.

How else would we know what something feels like if we don’t feel the opposite?

Two extreme opposites in nature are examples for us to appreciate life’s ups and downs.

CLOUDS

The clouds with different formations, speeds & heights represent the frequency, types & speed of our thoughts.

Don’t be alarmed when your thoughts vary from day-to-day, they are supposed to.

Just like we don’t resist the clouds, we should not resist the formation of our thoughts.

Lesson: Don’t resist the clouds, fly through them

WIND

We have five senses, but we should not be limited to them.

Look at the wind:

            Can anyone physically touch it?

            NOT POSSIBLE!

So, we should pay attention to our intuition. Not all things that exist can be seen or heard.

Some things need to be FELT.

ANIMALS

If we closely look at the life of animals, we would observe that each of them know exactly who they are.

Zebras do not look at tigers & wish that they could hunt like tigers.

So, we should accept ourselves as we are and know our strengths and weaknesses.

PREY

There is nothing that we do not learn from the wonder of NATURE.

Lessons for fear can be found in our nature.

Animals who are prey don’t over analyze & plan in advance the ways they are going to outsmart a predator in the future.

That means, THEY DON’T WORRY ABOUT THE ‘HOW TO’.

We all should learn from this lesson. If we know what we want specifically, we should not over analyze on how we would get there.

SNAKES

We all should transform and be better as time passes. No one stays the same throughout the years.

We GROW.

Like snakes, it is necessary to shed our own skin and personality to allow an improved & better version of ourselves to emerge.

BUTTERFLIES

Some of the most beautiful wisdom and changes occur as we grow older & transform from a caterpillar to a butterfly.

What will happen to the caterpillar if we stop its progress at some point in the process?

There will be NO BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY.

So, we should not resist change.

ANTS & BEES

The most inspiring leadership wisdom is found in ants & bees.

They work TOGETHER to achieve a certain goal.

In ants & bees life, no one works for himself. All participate together to BENEFIT ALL.

PETS

Giving LOVE without expecting anything in return is seen in our pets.

“Did you ever stop to think that a dog is the only animal that doesn’t have to work for a living? A hen has to lay eggs. A cow has to give milk, and a canary has to sing. But a dog makes his living by giving out nothing but love.” THE LEADER IN YOU BY DALE CARNEGIE
