Imagine a person living in a house where all his doors and windows are shut.

He doesn’t get out to take a breath of fresh air or for any other purpose.

He thinks he has everything he needs in his closed quarters.

In his foolish belief that he has everything he needs in his home, he doesn’t venture outside at all.

Because his windows are closed tight, he does not even hear the winds from outside. Because his wall is made of thick stones, he cannot hear the rain falling to the ground.

Because he is looking at his TV and seeing the rain pouring on the screen, he thinks it is the same.

Because he is seeing lots of shows that have lots of conversations in them on TV, he thinks he is having conversations when he is not even having a single conversation with his next door neighbor.

In his attempt to block everything from the world, he does this consistently and blocks everything that tries to come in to his home vehemently.

Not reading books is exactly like the above analogy.

When you read, your windows to your home will be wide open. Your doors will be fully opened.

Unlike the above person who is shutting down the world effectively by choosing to close his windows and doors from the outside world, if you read regularly you cultivate the habit of choosing the world to be IN.

Here are my BEST MOTIVATIONAL BOOKS I recommend for you.
