Excitement is like Seawater – by itself, Completely Useless

Seawater takes a purifier to change it into something beautiful.

· If you are excited to change your ways and better your relationships, what good will that do if you do not take action on your excitement?

· If you are excited by the lesson you found in the seminar you just attended, but you do not take a single step on what you have learned, then nothing has changed.

· If you are inspired by an article you read from one of my posts but you do not take action to change your ways, then things will remain the same.

You have to do something about what you have been excited about. You have to take action on the thing you’ve been inspired.

“You have to take actions on your excitement. Otherwise, you will not see the fruits of your excitement.”

Deep down, we know we cannot fully rely on inspiration alone. We know inspiration does not tab our shoulder every day and make us take an action.

And yet we expect it to do so when we wait for it to do its magic. We fool ourselves when we expect the impossible, the improbable.

It is like buying eggs from the supermarket and expecting the eggs to be eggs Benedict when you reach home.

Inspiration does not magically make you a productive person.

Inspiration does not magically turn you into a person who sticks to his/her daily habits.

Inspiration does not make you a person who is dedicated to his/her work.

Inspiration is not a substitute for work.

To your inspirations,

Banchi
